Hi,

Our website is currently running on Joomla 2.5 and we are planning to update it. We are also using JA Nuevo and we are also using T3 blank template on our microsite.

If we update to Joomla 3.6, will there be any issue with the templates that we’re using?

Hi
You can update the Joomla to latest version,
First make sure all other extensions on your site are also ready for the latest Joomla,
If not kindly check them first.
Take full backup off site and update the Template and other JA Extensions to latest version
After this step, you can update your Joomla with help of the steps given here.
Always take backup of site before the update, If anything wrong after the update you have a backup copy to restore the site.

Hi Pankaj,

Since the JA Nuevo and T3 blank template are both compatible with Joomla 2.5 and 3.x, that means after we update our Joomla version, we can still continue to use the JA Nuevo and T3 blank template without any issues?

Yes, you can use them, but kindly check other extensions too and back is must as its migration from Joomla 2.5 to 3.x
