I installed Joomlart’s ja_methys template using K2 extension based in your quickstart zip file without data example (not imported during the instalation) – Joomla 1.5.22

When I create a new user using joomla ‘user manager’ after the save action this user does not shows in the user list. I can’t access to the backend with these credentials either. If i try again to create a new user (the same) i get error that: this username exists.

Using K2 extensions/user I can see the recently created user, I can edit, and so on, but this user can’t acces to the backend.

Hi,

As I understood, you can not login with the new users you create in Joomla 1.5.22. I would suggest you to reinstall the quickstart for 1.5 and check if this happens. I have used JA methys quickstart and havent come across this error, so would like to check it on your site. If reinstalling quickstart doesnt solve the issue, please provide your site superadmin details at http://support.joomlart.com/index.php?/Tickets/Ticket/View/78692 so that I can check the issue and try to give you a solution for it.
