July 22, 2011 at 12:06 pm #166594I have asked this question before, but never in a seperate thread.
When will the market function get better?
I have to renew my membership, but I still cant use my points for anything.
I stoped helping in here when it changed, my points became useless….Found this thread, but its 9 months later so im making a new one.
Could I maybe get discount via my points ?
I already lost about 800 -1000 points that I had deposited on the old system back in 2010, now I have to get 6000 for a membership I dont want 🙁 ???Sorry for the rude headline, But I just fell that it should be developed or removed from the site 🙂

July 22, 2011 at 7:13 pm #402585I’m not sure what part of the renewal process you are finding confusing . . . . other than your separate question as to whether partial points can be used as a kind of pro-rate for a discounted renewal price.
When you try to redeem the points you have and click “purchase membership,” does it not pro-rate the price using the points?
(I haven’t tried the process myself, so I don’t know)If it does not, then it would seem that this option is not available at this time – unless Hung decides to implement such a consideration.

Are you saying that the ONLY option being presented to you is the Developer Membership for 6000 points? And, incidentally, you don’t “have to get 6000 points” . . . you can purchase the membership package you want at any time.

Yes thats what im saying.
I dont want developer license for 6 months, I want a new template membership, maybe even a module membership also.
But those options are not there. So as it is atm, I have lost alot of points in the upgrade, but thats what it is.
More important, the point system is not worth anything atm = less activity on the forums I persume 🙂 -
