Guys,
I cannot Add/Edit/Update my content with the WYSWYG editor(JCE) via the front-end when I login as a registered (author) user.
When I choose to submit content, none of the editor icons are being displayed, neither the Save and Apply buttons are working.
After some search I discovered that it has to do with the template. If i change the template to some other (non joomlart template) everything works fine.Any idea on how to sort out my problem?
Thank you in advance,

June 4, 2008 at 6:27 pm #251970I don’t think that’s the problem because I’m also having issues with JCE and this template.
When I’m logged in the front-end as SuperAdmin all I see is the html, not the WYSIWYG editor. When clicking on “show/hide source” nothing happens.
Only happens with this template.

June 5, 2008 at 12:15 pm #252142Guys,
what I meant is that when I have created some users with author (or above – even super administrator) rights and they login, if they would like to add an article via the front end, they usually click on the user-menu and the submit-news link, which forces their editor of choice to appear and let them to type and save their content.
Thus, when they do so, the editor appears but none of its icons are displayed. I read few articles in the joomla official forum, where a guy wrote that could be a template problem. Therefore, I changed my joomlart template to others non-joomlart templates, and the problem disappeared.
Doews anybody of the development team knows what to change in the template in order to have the editors in the front end working properly?I use the 1.0.x version if needed.
Thank you,
Rodotheos -
