I made the 404 error page you can get it and follow the steps below
+ Download and extract my attached file
+ Copy error.css file into templates/ja_teline_v/css/ folder and error.php file into templates/ja_teline_v/ folder
and you should get results as shown in the screenshot below

No… (please look at first image)… and then the second!
Nothing to do (but when I copied error.css there was not an error.css inside /template/ja_teline_v/css).
Info: also if I erase error.php result is the same: look image > forever 404 error withoutMax
ps It could depend by a css configuration on backend? Or a strange conflict with an misterious option?!

It’s very strange bug on your site, from your site backend I disabled jomsocial component and tested the error page on your site and it’s working fine with error page, see the screenshot
About the problem “Missing Controller. Please contact administrator” you can contact owner of JomSocial, you should get better answer from them.

June 8, 2015 at 11:15 am #573291That’s progress. Thank you very much. So that means that Jomsocial is using an Java or Ajax script that’s conflicting with the error page function. The question is then, which function of the error page feature is the one that’s being disturbed by Jomsocial?

June 9, 2015 at 3:32 am #573385@andrewwinkler: I’m not sure about that, but you can raise the problem “Missing Controller. Please contact administrator” to JomSocial guys and they will check and let you know the solution.

June 9, 2015 at 2:21 pm #573459I just got to give the Jomsocial a lead which JS’s are affected by their extension. Otherwise, they’ll just turn around and say, “not our problem”.
