If you’ve seen JA Purity for Joomla 1.5 and adored it, but realised it’s not available for J1.0.x, don’t be upset any longer!JoomlArt have just completed the conversion for JA Purity, and as such you can download a Joomla 1.0.x version absolutely free! There is no need for a subscription to download and use this template on your website!
DOWNLOAD NOW
If you enjoy this template for Joomla 1.5, don’t forget to vote for it at Joomla.org (you will need to login with a joomla.org user account)January 7, 2008 at 5:45 pm #235979Great Template! BUT…
I can´t get it to work with J!1.0xI tested 3 different local installs, it does not show up!?!
After applying it as default… the templatemanager goes blank (almost blank, the black joomla admin header graphic is still there)The Frontend is totally blank!
Any clues?
TIA!!!Michael Casha FriendMichael Casha

Have you got a live site url?January 8, 2008 at 2:17 am #236010No live site… only local testing.
After serveral tries and another install-procedure with a new J!1.0.13 install, the admin template manager problem is gone!? (does 1.0.12 work either?)I only get a Frontend WITHOUT CSS styling or any images… just if i disabled any CSS
So, i am not a hardcorecoder, but when i zake a look in the source and the index.php:
<link rel=”stylesheet” href=”<?php echo $mosConfig_live_site; ?>templates/system/css/system.css” type=”text/css” />
<link rel=”stylesheet” href=”<?php echo $mosConfig_live_site; ?>templates/system/css/general.css” type=”text/css” />
<link rel=”stylesheet” href=”<?php echo $ja_template_path; ?>/css/template.css” type=”text/css” />What are these first two lines??? Anyway, there is a missing / at the beginning.
The ja_template_path seems strange, too. The localhost has NO port adress? Is this the error?I guess the adress should read:
…http://localhost:8888/praxis/…But this is the generated Source on my localhost test server (using e-living MAMP1.6 pro):
<link rel=”stylesheet” href=”http://localhost:8888/praxistemplates/system/css/system.css” type=”text/css” /><link rel=”stylesheet” href=”http://localhost:8888/praxistemplates/system/css/general.css” type=”text/css” />

Can you edit your configuration file, and on the url part add the /.It’s an issue with Joomla, not our templates according to what you’ve told me.

Where? At the livesite parameter? This happens with the change:
That may fix only this line (do i need it anyway???):
<link rel=”stylesheet” href=”http://localhost:8888/praxistemplates/system/css/system.css” type=”text/css” />but THIS is the important error, the missing port, NOT the missing backslash:
<link rel=”stylesheet” href=”http://localhost:/praxis//templates/ja_purity/css/template.css” type=”text/css” />same problem for all Javascript files:
<script language=”javascript” type=”text/javascript” src=”http://localhost:/praxis//templates/ja_purity/js/ja.script.js”></script>can´t find any parameter which should cause this “truncation”.
All other templates work fine.January 9, 2008 at 2:58 pm #236110still no clue what to do… 🙁
Why is the port-number missing?
And what are these two CSS references pointing on two folders i don´t have either?i would really love to use it on a J!1.0x installation!
TIAJanuary 16, 2008 at 12:49 pm #236514<em>@rexkramer 36541 wrote:</em><blockquote>

Why is this? :confused:January 16, 2008 at 3:43 pm #236528Very good idea to release a Joomla 1.0 Version of ja_purity. Thank you, I like it really but have some problems using it:
In Safari/Mac for example the collapsable Modules doesnt work (in 1.5 Version it works) and i am still lookin for the images they couldnt be found after changing user user options in “ja_vars.php” ($ja_tool = 2; to $ja_tool = 7;). Unfortunately my site started then to show some question marks for some needed images from the purity template that couldnt be found:
The requested URL /templates/ja_purity/images/user-screen2-hilite.png was not found on this server.
The requested URL /templates/ja_purity/images/-hilite.png was not found on this server.
The requested URL /templates/ja_purity/images/blue.png was not found on this server.
The requested URL /templates/ja_purity/images/green.png was not found on this server.
The requested URL /templates/ja_purity/images/-1.png was not found on this server.Does someone from joomlart know, where the pictures are gone?
