JoomlArt have just completed the conversion for JA Purity, and as such you can download a Joomla 1.0.x version absolutely free! There is no need for a subscription to download and use this template on your website!

Great Template! BUT…
I can´t get it to work with J!1.0x

I tested 3 different local installs, it does not show up!?!
After applying it as default… the templatemanager goes blank (almost blank, the black joomla admin header graphic is still there)

The Frontend is totally blank!

Any clues?

No live site… only local testing.
After serveral tries and another install-procedure with a new J!1.0.13 install, the admin template manager problem is gone!? (does 1.0.12 work either?)

I only get a Frontend WITHOUT CSS styling or any images… just if i disabled any CSS

So, i am not a hardcorecoder, but when i zake a look in the source and the index.php:

What are these first two lines??? Anyway, there is a missing / at the beginning.
The ja_template_path seems strange, too. The localhost has NO port adress? Is this the error?

I guess the adress should read:
…http://localhost:8888/praxis/…

But this is the generated Source on my localhost test server (using e-living MAMP1.6 pro):

Can you edit your configuration file, and on the url part add the /.

It’s an issue with Joomla, not our templates according to what you’ve told me.

Where? At the livesite parameter? This happens with the change:

That may fix only this line (do i need it anyway???):

but THIS is the important error, the missing port, NOT the missing backslash:
<link rel=”stylesheet” href=”http://localhost:/praxis//templates/ja_purity/css/template.css” type=”text/css” />

same problem for all Javascript files:

can´t find any parameter which should cause this “truncation”.
All other templates work fine.

Why is the port-number missing?
And what are these two CSS references pointing on two folders i don´t have either?

i would really love to use it on a J!1.0x installation!

Very good idea to release a Joomla 1.0 Version of ja_purity. Thank you, I like it really but have some problems using it:

In Safari/Mac for example the collapsable Modules doesnt work (in 1.5 Version it works) and i am still lookin for the images they couldnt be found after changing user user options in “ja_vars.php” ($ja_tool = 2; to $ja_tool = 7;). Unfortunately my site started then to show some question marks for some needed images from the purity template that couldnt be found:

The requested URL /templates/ja_purity/images/user-screen2-hilite.png was not found on this server.
The requested URL /templates/ja_purity/images/-hilite.png was not found on this server.
The requested URL /templates/ja_purity/images/blue.png was not found on this server.
The requested URL /templates/ja_purity/images/green.png was not found on this server.
The requested URL /templates/ja_purity/images/-1.png was not found on this server.

Does someone from joomlart know, where the pictures are gone?
