I have just installed joomsef artio.

URL shows ok, tikced the 3 SEO settings to YES in gloabal config.

Did not work thank God read some replies got right.

it was in configuration.php

var live site etc bla bla ..

Dear kbouchafaa!

Did you rename the “htaccess.txt” file to the “.htaccess”, pls try to check this again.
You can find this file in your project, it put same deep level with the “administrator” folder.

Thnak oyu for that reply it was really helpful.
Could please tell me, i would like to put in my slideshow, a bnner instead.
Example remove the slideshow module ( b/c it takes a time to load i wanted a faster loading page to cater for all users), replace it either by a default joomla banner or by a photo that remains there, keeping the same position of the slidshow.

Am using —> ja nickel template
Any suggestions please

Dear kbouchafaa!

The ja-slideshow position is easy to bring users a most impression look, you should put a flash in there such as the ja slideshow module or a flash player to display images…..ect. With the banner module only display static image or text, it does not bring more the impression look, I thinks so. 🙂
