Which elements, specifically, do not seem to be working for you – in relation to your updated version of JoomShopping ??

Yes Tom. I hade update JoomShoping to 3.4.2 and take error 500. With default theme JoomShop all is working. But it’s not aesthetic! 🙂

If you search the forum you’ll find a fair bit about this already discussed.

In addition to the posts this may offer extra insight.

What exactly does the 500 Error say?
(you might also need to check your server logs for what the specific error is – it might be permissions)

OK Tom. Once again. Theme ja_tiris for joomshoping is not work after I update joomshoping. http://olympicbody.ru/index.php/supermarket now I take default theme joomshoping

So, I understand that in order to work theme ja tiris I need to revert update of JoomShoping on 3.2.5……

    This is the regression…:((

That’s what it was built to run on and why it was delivered with JS 3.2.5 I’d have thought. JS made a major upgrade with 3.4.. It broke lots of templates not just Joomlart’s. (That’s why I run dev systems – to check stuff like this.)

If you read the link that I posted it gives you a road map for Joomlart’s updates. 😉 We shouldn’t have too long to wait! 🙂

We release the templates with a particular version of an extension and they are fully tested with that version. Some extension developers update their stuff very often, far more often that most template clubs can deal with. While JA do their utmost to keep up it is not always possible especially ad just a day or two’s notice.

While I understand users want the latest versions sometimes it is just not possible. There is just too much work involved at too short a notice. Often JA only find out about new versions when members tell us, usually within hours of their release. At that point JA cannot simply drop everything and test then update the templates. Planning must be done to fit around the normal work. It is especially hard at the moment with J2.5.x just being released and already, just a few days later a bug fix release of J2.5.1 is imminent. JA then have to rapidly test and upgrade all of their extensions and template. So please bear with us. Announcements will be made if and when each template is ready.
