Hi,

I’m using the Sanidine II template and 2 components I’ve added use jQuery validation but it doesn’t seem to work with this template. I’m not sure if this is a template problem or related to the component but I thought I’d try here first. The components I’m trying to use are AlphaRegistration and CK Forms both with Joomla 1.5.14. The AlphaRegistration component works but the validation only shows when the user submits the form where as it should show as they enter each field (e.g. username, email, password etc.). The CK Forms component doesn’t validate at all and allows a blank form to be submitted even when the fields are mandatory.

I believe it’s a problem with running mootools and jQuery and I understand these can be used together in noconflict mode but I’m unsure how to actually do this or if there’s a better solution so any help would be apprectiated.
