Hello,
I am using JA Teline IV 1.2.4 on a Joomla 1.5.23 site. The home page is fine and doesn’t have any Javascript errors, but on all the interior pages I am getting the following error:
document.defaultView.getComputedStyle(this, null) is null from line 36 of mootools.js.The same modules are shown on interior pages as the home page (just less modules on interior pages), so the errors are not coming from modules. The content doesn’t use any JS, so I think this has to be something to do with the template.
See: http://www.py.keashly.ca/about-us
Any help on this would be appreciated.

May 4, 2011 at 7:00 pm #389836Can you also detail the errors? I have tried in FF, IE8 and IE9 as well as Safari and see no errors.
May 4, 2011 at 8:12 pm #389851Hi,
I am using FF 3.6.17 with FireBug. I get 5 JS errors on the About page. All of them are:
document.defaultView.getComputedStyle(this, null) is null
if(document.defaultView)result=documen…)result=this.currentStyle[property];} mootools.js (line 36)I tried deleting cookies & clearing the browser cache and reloading, still 5 JS errors.
In IE9 when I go to this page: http://www.py.keashly.ca/events/icalevent.edit/0?year=2011&month=05&day=04
I get the following JS error info:
Webpage error detailsUser Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 7.0; Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; Trident/5.0; SLCC2; .NET CLR 2.0.50727; .NET CLR 3.5.30729; .NET CLR 3.0.30729; Media Center PC 6.0; OfficeLiveConnector.1.5; OfficeLivePatch.1.3; .NET4.0C)

May 5, 2011 at 4:34 pm #390005Hi,
Make sure that you have Firebug open in order to see the JS errors.
Thanks.

May 5, 2011 at 6:52 pm #390016I still cannot see your errors. Do you still get them if you disacle the JS optimization in the template mamager?
May 5, 2011 at 8:16 pm #390021Hi,
Yes, I have changed the JS optimization to None and I still get the JS errors. I have tried this on 3 different computers in FF and they all have the js errors on interior pages. Tried it on both a Mac and PC both are showing the 5 JS errors. Try: http://www.py.keashly.ca/events
Thank you.

May 5, 2011 at 8:54 pm #390029The only errors my Firebug panel are showing up are from your adagency component.
May 5, 2011 at 9:20 pm #390031Hi,
So, are you saying that these JS errors:
document.defaultView.getComputedStyle(this, null) is nullare coming from Ad Agency?
I have turned off all the Ad agency modules and am still getting the JS errors, so I don’t think they are coming from it.

May 5, 2011 at 9:41 pm #390035JS is a bit of a weak point for me so maybe one of the devs can pipe in. I have to say though you do need to look very hard to find these warnings. Any normal browsing does not show them up.
