June 26, 2009 at 2:03 pm #142271I did a fresh install of the quickstart for JA Sulfur, then installed my JomSocial Component, which works great under the default template style. Then I placed my JA Sulfur Theme into the correct folder, which you explained, but when I go to preview the layout, it is all out of order. Everything appears to be on the left hand side of the site. Not like it was in the Demo originally. Am I going to have to manually place my modules to the correct default location? or did I do something wrong?
Check out the “The Mix” button to see what I am talking about. Thanks in advance for your help and time!

June 27, 2009 at 2:43 pm #309233Hi-
A bunch of us have been saying that since they released the JA Sulfur template. As far as I can tell they’ve taken the “ignore us and the problem” and hopefully both will go away approach.
If you ever get a response or any solution let the community know! 🙂
Good luck!

June 29, 2009 at 5:26 pm #309460I am very dissappointed for the money I have paid to be a developer member, and have had no help from Joomlart at all. Please reply to my post. I have searched the forum and have seen no one really helped with these issues! I wanted to buy a Magento Membership, but have my doubts now. Please, just say, we are working on it, or say, we’re stumped, something than ignore us!

June 30, 2009 at 12:41 am #309482Same problem brother, I don’t know what’s so hard about replying to your customers threads, but this is rediculous. I’ve entered a ticket, if I get a reply, I will post a new thread. Also, I am working on some fixes myself, but nothing has worked so far. I’ve even taken all modules down, and they still show up on the jomsocial page…. wierd!

June 30, 2009 at 8:45 am #309515I made a clean install of joomla (1.5.11), jomsocial (1.2.204) and installed the sulfur template for jomsocial, same thing happens: Default template displays correctly, sulfur template for jomsocial doesn’t.

July 3, 2009 at 3:25 am #309862Sorry for getting back this late. We have been so busy with the release of JA Lead for the last few days.
There is a difficulty for us about JomSocial template is that they seem to release new version every 2 or 3 days and we are not noticed about such changes/updates.
I have just do the check, the JA Sulfur was released a week ago when JomSocial latest version was 1.2.192 and now the current version is 1.2.204. JA is totally not notified whether such update will affect the Sulfur template for JomSocial template or not. I have contacted the Azurl team so that we can do best together on such changes.
About your broken layout of JomSocial with JA Sulfur, I have asked JA Developer & the test team to inspect into the issues and will keep you updated shortly.
For the time being, please let us know what version of Joomla, JomSocial you are using.
(Joomla has just upgraded to 1.5.12 yesterday and we are updating all our quickstart to this version as well.)sbouloc Friendsbouloc
