I checked our template with Joomla 1.5.12 and JomSocial 1.2.204 and saw that it is working fine.
I think your issue is from your configuration.

July 7, 2009 at 3:34 am #310218I wonder why you put a solved tag on the topic since my problem is not solved. I have a major problem with your template, that is it won’t display my community pages and the only reply I get is ‘it’s not our template but your config’. happens that it works fine with the default template but not with sulfur template, which I would like to use. I PM you access login as asked but I guess you don’t have time to look at it, which I can understand, but at least say something instead of putting that thread as solved and just forget about it.
Just makes me smile when I keep receiving mails – as my membership is coming to its end. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not trying to put any pressure on you, I just give you my feeling, and my feeling is that you guys are trying to do too many things at a time and the result is that we, customers, don’t get as much consideration as we used to.
I’ve been a customer for more than 2 years now and don’t know if I’ll reniew it.

July 7, 2009 at 3:50 am #310219On what rationalization do you unilaterally mark this issue solved? Even your own JA Sulfur demo still reflects the poor CSS styling and other issues many other members of this forum, and your paying customers, have politely pointed out.
I agree with sbouloc, I think your team took on to many tasks and projects and now your customer support is starting to be adversely impacted.

July 11, 2009 at 4:54 am #310675I have just installed joomla 1.5.12 as fresh install then installed jomsocial 1.2.204 (both the latest versions i believe)
However the jomsocial template seems to be very broken, I have reinstalled again just to make sure.
I really only took up the membership for this template, if this is not going to be fixed soon could you advise me so i can get a refund thx.
July 12, 2009 at 1:33 am #310744i have the same problem terrible template front end doesn’t work either im using the affinity template and it work fine despite all the changes in joomla and jomscoial and kununa, i just spent 59 dollars to download this one template and its terrible total waist of money

I have to say i agree with you here have been waiting for a single reply from support for days, only joined this template club for that one template, and i am feeling rather disappointed after seeing a number of users with the same issue and the admins not having the decency to even give a reply of acknowledgement.
If any of you manage to get this template working would appreciate if you could let me know thanks.

I checked some websites which are using ja_sulfur template for joomsocial and saw that they are copying the js_theme_sulfur folder to components/com_community/templates folder.
It is incorrect.In js_theme_sulfur folder, please kindly find ja_sulfur folder and copy this folder to components/com_community/templates folder.

Firstly thank you for having the courtesy of responding finally.
You might be better to check your install package, rather than to instantly say its the end user fault 🙂
Your install package using the full install as per demo is doing this automatically.
When will the styling issues be resolved please?

JA Sulfur does not come with the component Jomsocial. This is a item that you must buy from Jomsocial.com
