When you select the product image in the JShopping product details page, the image opens and the rest of the screen displays a mask with an opacity of 0.8. Does anyone know where the code/setting is to change this opacity level?

So that I can try to best assist you, please provide the url of the site you are working on – as well as reference to the particular page you speak of within your issue/question.

Also, please set “Optimize CSS” to “No” within your Template Manager–General Settings.

Off the top of my head it comes from lightbox.

I would think from here:- components/com_jshopping/js/jquery/jquery.lightbox-0.5.pack.js

Yep, that’s what I thought too, but I’m not sure the opacity setting is in that file.

Bigger problem now though, my slideshow has disappeared from the front page.

Just checked and it is. Search for 0.8 and you can replace it. Suggest that you make a copy of the file first!

Where did it go! Pub? 😉

Have you changed your home menu at all? I seem to remember you did my page over rides trick so that slideshow was on home page only that’s why I ask.

I did see the 0.8 number, but didn’t want to mess with it since it’s a .js file (not too familiar with it). Thanks, I’ll try modifying the number.

I don’t know what happened to the slideshow? It’s published, but it looks like the slideshow position is not showing up on the front page?

I did change the Optimize CSS setting in the template manager from ‘linked files’ to ‘no’ per TomC’s instructions. I’ve since changed it back thinking that might have caused an issue, but it’s still missing.

JS isn’t the cleanest to read is it! Make sure you have a copy safety tucked away before you start playing then.

My whole point about the over-rides. It HAS gone to the pub!

It seems and obviously I can’t see your front end, that it is calling the layout and profile with the slideshow block removed. So the home page isn’t possibly using the original home menu item you set up. Have you changed something?

I haven’t changed anything that I know of. I’ll check the template manager layout and profile though.

    OK.

If you check with Chrome or Firebug and are not seeing this div on the frontpage then it can only really be down to the page over-rides.

    <div id=”ja-slideshow” class=”wrap “>…</div> (sits normally between ja-mainnav and ja-masshead)

Even if slideshow was not published this block would still show.

    Best of luck

Here’s a screenshot of the layout list in my template manager. Could no slide be set as the default layout?

Can you post a picture of the page assignments on the left hand side of the page?

So you’ve specifically set pages 625 and 617 to blue. There must a be a reason for that. I’ve no idea what these menu items are. Check what they are.

If you look at Profiles and click blue then scroll right down the page you’ll come to a section called Layout Options. See what is listed there for Desktop Layout. Is it default or is it noslide?

If it is noslide then on these pages – 625 and 617 there will be no slideshow. If one of those is your home page item then there is your reason. You can change it to default which should have the slideshow in.

I disabled the Blue profile in the Layout Settings quite awhile ago. I used this profile in a much earlier design version.

Check the default profile then. See what is set there. Default or noslide?
