well, if you are not seeing the div I mentioned above on post number 9, then it can only mean that for the home page the block for the slideshow has been removed.

I need to go to bed but I’ll leave you with one question – do you see the sidenews? the three boxes on the frontpage?

I can only suggest that you check in layout default if there is a block for slideshow, if so then you need to report as a bug. If not you will need to add it in.

You are looking for this – <block name=”slideshow” main-inner=”2″>slideshow,sidenews</block>

I found the problem. There was a jquery conflict that I had to resolve. What a pain. But it’s working now. Woohoo!
