May 11, 2010 at 6:07 pm #150998Hello everyone in ja job board section!
Some of you may know me as the trouble maker for ja as im always reporting bugs and bugs for job board.
I havent been around here for some time s i didnt tried new versions of job board. I was just to tired to install and hunt all the bugs down again and again without any major changes in new releases. Now i have my license since a year and wasnt able to use it as i would like to show my visitors a great portal instead of a buggy one. But i want to get my site up asap as i only have wasted my money at this stage. Dont get me wrong JA Devs, you are making great steps, but there is somewhere a problem with job board development…
Lets take this only as a suggestion, i think it will help most of us:
Freeze upcoming features for the next upgrade release! Put together all your developers and hunt down all the bugs for this enterprise component. Come back, and provide us with a real stable version of job board. This would make your customers much more happy than releasing again and again a new patch. But yeah, it shouldnt take longer than a couple of weeks!
Just try to put more importance to this product to get it once and for all bug free and useable. After this, you could try to integrate new features, step my step, all bug free and TESTED before release.
Set up a group of testers around the world so you have different feedbacks.Sorry for being again a pain in the ass but i just want to help you and sure to get finally my investment saved.
Thank you!
Nick

May 12, 2010 at 7:22 am #343319Nick, I have had an experience that is exactly like yours: bought jobboard last July 2009 (!!!), installed every single release till 1.4.2, then given back as it took too many hours to get it working ok, and eventually new bugs appeared every single time.
I’ve pm the dev team suggesting to come up first with a solid bug-free version of JA Jobboard, and only then working on new features.
Now, after almost one year of work, I’m waiting for the release of a solid working version of jobboard.

Firstly, I really appreciate your comments.
At the moment, JAJobboard has been released with many versions bringing lots of bug free, improvements and features as well. These achievements gained today basing on lots of such an ideas/suggestions. Many thanks to all for that.
For each version, we are aware that improving development progress to reach the best products for customer is our top priorities. We conduct a testing plan and allocate SQA team to implement testing for each development phase to make sure that everything is well tested before launching.
After applying new process on some recent Jobboard versions, we are eager to hear all your feedback as well as appraisals on our new progress. You clearly know also that the better upgrades of JAJobboard have been released recently, JA Jobboard works more stable and take effect. However, it’s difficult to clear all the bugs caused by our development or other objective reasons. Thus, after sale, support is prioritized also as you see on forum.
