Hello, I have just installed the JA Fixel template using QuickStart.
First, when I finished the normal Joomla installation:
1- When I pressed Remove installation folder button I got error message
2- the “configuration.php” file was missing!

Anyway, I removed the installation folder manually and created the “configuration.php” file as well.

But when I open my website, I got the following error msg:
JFolder::create: Could not create directory Path: D:Hosting11683369htmlt3-assets

What does it mean? and how to solve it?

Also as “quick start” refers, I thought the joomshopping extention will be downloaded with the package, but it is not. :((

In a Web server environment permissions are used to control which Web site owners can access which directories and files. The Web Server will still need to Execute set for the username and Read, Execute groupname permissions set so that it can Execute the Read command on files inside the directory.

Please contact system administrator of your hosting ask them set and configure userweb is appearing with source code on your site for full control. In this case userweb can create “t3-assets” folder.

Thanks for your reply. But should the joomshopping be installed with the Quickstart package or not (I have to install it on my own)?

JoomShopping was removed on JED time ago and for that reason, we also remove it from the quickstart. Now, JoomShopping is back and we have just updated the quickstart for this JA Fixel template included this component, you can download it here

The JoomShopping included in this Quickstart misses a lot of files and it doesn’t appear in my back-end at all; not even in the extensions manager!

I have downloaded JA Fixel quickstart package on this link but i could not find the problem as you mentioned.

Please try to download and install it again.

Hi there,
I have gone through all the threads here, still have the problem with joomshopping, did the update and everything…the same error ‘another component is using the… folder’ there is no component, plug-in or anything related to joomshopping…

should I again download the quickstart and then re-do the whole website? or is there another way to get this working real soon?

Update: managed to manually copy the update files (from the download site) to the specific folders, then clear the cache, then ran the install (with the same error thhough), did another discovery and then uninstalled the component successfully, then re-installed it…and it worked!! what a nightmare!
