Hi there, I’m using social II and k2. within category view I’m attempting a alignment problem.
The problem occurs if the item image is higher then width as shown on the attached image.
Do you have a solution for this?

It would be most helpful if you could provide the url of the site you’re working on,
as well as temporarily set "Optimize CSS" to "Off" within your Template Manager–General settings.

Also, perhaps a screenshot mockup of how you are wanting the images to display.

.com_k2 div.catItemView {min-height: 350px;}

Save file , clean cache and check.

that leads to enormous whitespace below horizontal images…

isn’t there any possibility to set the height of the item view in cetegrory in relation to the height of the image?

the height is auto , but there is padding define that is applied globally on the border . so you need to increase the values incase it match the item border here > http://prntscr.com/9orcaj
