March 18, 2013 at 3:52 pm #185949Hello all again,
My week it’s being really frustrating with the Multilingual Site. Now my K2 content does not appear when I switch to the second language (Spanish).
I have made it to translate the K2 items in joomfish but when I click on the blog menu they don’t show up. Although, the module that has the K2 article on the frontpage seems to recognise the translation, the link brings me a 404 error.
You can see here the front page: http://www.t-reeds.com
Does anyone have a solution for this?
Thank you.
Borja

Yes. I aslo saw the problem with Blog menu when your site switchs to Spanish. Because, this issue is related to the integration of different 3rd party extensions (K2, Joom!Fish), I recommend you to install the latest version of both ones. Then pls follow this tutorial to solve this conflict issue.

March 23, 2013 at 1:23 pm #487562Hello Leo,
I have solved the problem but it was a way more easy than that. I had the category blog set as English. I changed to language ALL and now is working fine.
I think, in the latest version of K2 and Joomfish you have to set all your categories to language ALL but I did not se that mentioned anywhere.
Anyway thanks for the replay and hope this help in the future to other K2 users.

March 27, 2013 at 5:01 pm #488034Hi Leo,
I though it was all solved but I realised a few days ago that if you point a link to a single K2 article, the trick does not work.
So, for example now my About T-Reeds menu does not switch from English to Spanish. It just shows the english version.
I have a solution that is changing the article to a simple joomla content but I though it was worthy to ask you guys for some ideas. If not, in a couple of days, I will sort it out that way.
Thank you very much
Borja
Note:The link refers to a page with another issue that I posted in this forum, so if you want to switch to another language you need to go to the home page and then change the language and link on Sobre T-reeds.

March 28, 2013 at 2:47 pm #488177Hi oboect,
Thank you for your tips & contribution on this topic. I really appreciate !
“I though it was all solved but I realised a few days ago that if you point a link to a single K2 article, the trick does not work”
>> As I mentioned that it still has issue with combining K2 & JomSocial on Multi-langual site. In additon, the 3rd extensions need to test for supporting default Joomla content, so using Joomla content is good alternative choice.– “The link refers to a page with another issue that I posted in this forum” >> Can you follow this thread, Ninja Lead did solved it on your site.
