Has anyone else experienced an issue with the K2 Articles not being able to post to the JomSocial Wall?

Situation… able to copy and paste standard joomla articles onto wall

Installed… JA Social Quickstart

Added JomSocial
Added JomSocial Social Template
Default Template is JA Social II
Using JomSocial Social template for all JomSocial Activities.

I’ll switch to the JA Social II Template to see if that is the issue…

What do you mean K2 article posting to JomSocial ?
Are you meaning any time submit K2 article will also submit JomSocial status ?

It’ll require an plugin. I’ve made it very long time ago. You can check it in JomSocial extensions.

Switched to JA Social Template… default, same issue… K2 Articles won’t post to wall… Joomla articles post nice and cleanly… UGH… really like K2 but don’t need the hassle of dealing with this.

I’ll post on the JomSocial board as well to see if they have a solution.

Not sure if it is a K2 issue or a JomSocial issue.

Do I need the JA K2 Filter, or is it installed by default with the quickstart installation of JA Social II?

Yes trying to copy K2 URL from browser and paste it into JomSocial Status.

Standard Joomla articles post correctly with the image choice available.

When I do the same with the K2 items, ie copy a K2 article url and paste it to the status, it just shows the ajax_loader gif constantly trying to update the status and never stops. Checked in Firefox, Chrome and Microsoft Edge… same thing.
