July 18, 2012 at 7:52 pm #179218Below text in my Teline IV K2 items I have author details – they all don’t show up in my JA Wall test setup (1.0.3) despite all activated in K2 settings.
Anyone having same issue? And possibly a solution?
Thanks ahead for any advice.
Regads to all Wall buiders 🙂

July 19, 2012 at 1:57 am #461377Try this if you haven’t. Set all the parameters in Item View for the article to Inherit from Category. Then go to the category, make sure its not inheriting permission from any parent or categories. Now set the item view parameters in this category to your liking. There should be a few options like Show Author.

July 19, 2012 at 7:21 am #461421Thanks for your suggestion arucardx.
It was actually set as you say, with the exception of Category inherit – I set the category to not inherit and all author settings are set to show by default. In the item itself it was Inherit from category anyway as well, but nope – nothing shows up (I cleared cache).
Weird thing is that I now have FB like Tweet And G+ buttons at the end of the article. But I defenitely need to find a slolution to show Author details so any further help is appreciated.
Thanks again
Martin

July 19, 2012 at 7:41 am #461425Is that the only category that’s giving problem? From your screenshot, it looks like its still using demo data and that the installation went well.. If there’s another category that’s displaying articles properly, what you can do is set your problematic category to inherit from there then compared the two settings.

July 19, 2012 at 8:10 am #461432Yep, installation looks good and yes, this was one of the demo articles. Tried different categories with your suggestion and Author details don’t show up anywhere.
BUT, decided to create new category, then new item for it to test and it all showed up. So it’s a demo K2 items related issue that you guys might want to address.
Thanks again for help.
