I downloaded the Blaze 1.7 template and did a quick start installation. There are some features I see on the demo that i do not see in the files. The main thing is the K2 components.

K2 is not installed with Blaze.

just standard joomla blog content you might check zoo from yootheme.. its free and I used the included blog on one of my sites and found it was pretty slick.
http://www.hallhome.us/bears-blog if you want to see what it looks like.. I”m not pro but i thought it was slick.

Yeah its used in Blaze. i am using it now and just got it up running. It’s great. http://www.halfblackhalfwhite. Its real cool.
