Hey,
I mainly got this template due to the very nice looking blog layout in the K2. I for some reason thought that the template was build to provide this, however when i try the various K2 layouts i don’t get anything close to. I’ve been looking through the various threads and posts to try to find some answers as to how i should set it up. No luck so far.

Before i spend hours on trying different settings, i figured i’d ask if there was some documentation for this or if someone could point me in the right direction?

Hello

I recommend you should install a quickstart on host , you can check the setting of the category blog layout in the quickstart and you will make your category’s setting in same.

Follow this guide to install on localhost >> http://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/how-to-install-ja-quickstart-using-xampp-windows/

You can also proceed to demo site and generated your own demo (button on left side) and view the backend for settings.

You get the neat looking blog by setting the blog template to ja_rave. You find this setting under Parameters > Select a template. Hope this helps.

Yea, thanks to you both. I figured out why i couldn’t get it working, i had tried doing as you advised Christine, but my menuelement was of the wrong type 🙂
