Can anybody tell me the reason why my layout is broken (see footer) when I’m trying to create a simple page with multiple articles and I want to actually display them as K2 category instead of just creating a list? Structure is quite similar to JA University demo page.

At first I’ve tried to set up the website from scratch but after this problem appeared – I’ve decided to use quickstart with same effect.

After hours of searching and abusing swearwords I’ve found the culprit. For some strange reason this template doesn’t allow the use of “div” tags inside articles as it breaks the layout. I’ve had some paragraphs wrapped inside “div” tag in both articles and when I was displaying more than one article on category view, everything messed up.

I will have to disallow the use of “div” tag within the articles to avoid such problems.

I’m having the same issue, and I was surprised to see that this thread is marked as SOLVED. Solved would mean that Joomlart fixed the issue, right? So, how did you disallow divs and fix that category view layout?

Hi earthson,

Please try to set default editor in global configuration to None and edit your articles and make sure that div tag or other tags are not messed up, this is common reason that breaks site layout.

Well, that didn’t seem to make a difference. All tags seem to be ordered properly, just like they were when JCE was enabled.

JCE may strip tags from content so that it causes problem
