Hi,

i have an installation with jall. Home Page is ja_wall. I like to have extra fields.

If i make a extra field and a extra group and use it in a category then broke the Template and it shows a white site when i make an input in this field by an article.

If i make the article to offline then the site work.

I dont understand why.

Hi syntom,

JA Wall uses K2 Extra Fields to create Extended Class. It is really weird.
Can you please pm the ftp and admin to me? I would like to detect your problem directly.
Did you install the quickstart package? Or just install JA Wall template.
What Extra field name and extra field group you created?

i installed without quickstart package. The Version is 1.0.3.

Extra Field Group Name is test and extra field name is test too. And it is an textfield.

Hi syntom,

The problem may come from the incompatible between JA Wall and K2.
Please check again. Only JA Wall from 1.0.6 and above will be compatible with K2 2.6.2 and above (maybe)

I just apply small fix for your site. Though it is not full compatible as JA Wall 1.0.6 and above.

But please be aware when update.
If you have not customize much, then you can go ahead and update.
If you do some heavy customize, I would not recommend.

Hi syntom,

I am sorry but Its quite much changes and I can not give you full log. The new package required you update both JA Pager and JA Wall. If you do heavy customization, I would not recommend you to update. :-[

I show to the changedate. And then copy the files K2 – category and category item. Now it works for me! But i have made a change in the code. The k2 author (name in username) to show the username. But now i think it works for me. THX
