Dears,

please provide me how k2 filter works.

when i add new item from non-k2 editer thr filter count it but it doesn’t show it in item list !!

I tried to make a copy of item and insert it manually it works.

but when i insert item through my custom interface it doesn’t work!

all needed fields inserted right I’m sure!

and table jak2filter_taxonomy_map show added item and map it but i don’t know what the wrong.

Hello @omran,

If you does not create item in normal way, then JA K2 filter can not trigger to “Save Content” event to update the search indexing data.

To resolve this issue, once you insert the items via your external tools, you need to run the “Update Indexing” function to get the new items indexed.

The “Update Indexing” button is available on the toolbar within JA K2 Filter back-end.

i did refresh the indexing, and I review the tables #__jak2filter_taxonomy_map, and #__jak2filter_taxonomy to see if items indexed or not, and they are indexed, and the count of items is right, but when you make search, no item shown except the items entered by K2 interfaces.

What tool did you use to import content? Seem it does not work properly and items were created incorrectly.
Please check your tool again since our component still works properly with items created by K2 edit item form.
