Hello, I am using your template ‘community plus’ for joomla 1.6. I need to put the component items to share on social networks. I’ve seen in the demo of the template for version 1.6, published articles with the extension k2. To go the page to download the component k2 see that version of joomla 1.6 the extension is in development. What version you have installed on your demo?, What should I install? you please let me clarify the question, thanks.

    Greetings:

The only of our demos that are currently utilizing the K2 component are our J1.5 version demos. This is because, at present, the developers of K2 have not yet released their stable version of K2 for J1.7.

While there is a release candidate (RC) for K2 that is compatible with J1.7, we cannot guarantee that it will function properly without bugs.

Thank you, wait for the new version of k2. Another question is how I can make lateral menu with the same effect than appear when click the small menu Typography?

Are you referring to a vertical mega-menu type affect?

That would take some specialized custom coding, indeed. There might be a 3rd Party extension available for this within the Joomla Extension Directory (though I’m not sure I’ve seen one – yet).
