November 10, 2015 at 6:53 am #723581Upon a clean install of the Social II Quick Start package and going to a K2 edit there’s a misalignment as shown in image. Is there a fix for this?
Cheers!

November 11, 2015 at 9:00 am #723761Hi gugge2,
Do you mean that editting K2 item from front-end?
I tried to install quickstart package of this template at my local > Edit a K2 item from front-end but it worked properly: http://prntscr.com/91h8vq
If your site is online, you can PM me the URL and admin login info, I will take a look.

November 12, 2015 at 9:59 am #723935Thanks for having a look at this for me. Yes, I do mean from K2 front-end.
I’ve just discovered that I too get a well aligned editor when logged in as a Super User. If I login as a registered user with editing rights I get the misalignment.
I changed template from Social II to Beez3 and there was no issue there. It worked just fine. The site is under development and not online yet. If you can’t duplicate this then, if you wish and can I’ll give you temp access.
Thanks so much for your time and effort, it’s much appreciated.
Cheers!

We are sorry for any inconvenience it may cause.

November 19, 2015 at 5:38 am #725114Here’s a heads up on more editing issues with K2 just in case it’s not been noticed in the bug report.
There are multiple issues and more than the otherone I describing here. The purpose of this post is to point out that there’s need to go through the K2 editing in detail. K2 has been developed to make it easy for users to edit, but frankly with all the bugs in JA Social II > K2 it’s counter productive and not, or if not almost impossible to use.
I hope this helps and even serve to speed things up a little 😉
The image show the preview does not show in the front-end but does in another template.
Cheers!

November 26, 2015 at 12:46 am #756682Hi guy’s, Here’s a huge Heads Up
After spending a couple of weeks developing a site using JA Social II and K2, I’ve now discovered the front-end editing is far worse than the initial bugs that I’ve reported.
It’s in fact completely useless in it’s present state as nothing can be properly edited front-end by any level of user.
It’s rapidly approaching holiday season and nothing at all has happened the last I checked on the bug report!
What now, K2 users are left in the lurch?
What needs to be done to expedite this issue?
Cheers!

December 7, 2015 at 3:37 am #761401Sorry for the delay in getting back. I’ve been busy developing and bumped into other bugs in EasySocial that’s taking time :((
Anyhow, I was kind of hoping in the meantime that there’d be some movement on this reported major bug.
I just checked and nothing since November 13 :((I really do appreciate your offer of having a look and see what you can do. As soon as I’m able to give access I’ll be sure to let you know 🙂
Is it like asking how long’s a piece of string? When will the design guys start and fix this issue…
Cheers!
