I can add an image to the K2 item. However, it distorts the image even to the extreme of loosing all the color. If you look at the specified page you’ll see the “2008 Colorado Small Business Person of the Year” article and the distorted image. It was resized and used to have color and now is grey.

Hi kostrom,

I have attached the screenshot of the image that I have seen on your page,it is having blue colour.
Is your issue is with reference to this image only ? or if it is possible to update the screenshot of the image that you are seeing,update it at http://support.joomlart.com/index.php?/Tickets/Ticket/View/74596.
So that it will help me to understand your problem easily.

Thanks for your reply.

The site is being demo’d the next few days so I had to manually put in good versions of the graphics. So, the graphics you are seeing are good versions. I went ahead and manually changed the file that it created to solve the problem so I could demo it.

Again, the problem is when I upload an image via the image tab and it tries to generate the small, medium, large versions.

If you can get into the FTP you can see the files it messed up. media/k2/items/cache/. I replaced the “M” graphic with a good file. But, you can see the rest that the tool generated are all messed up. If FTP doesn’t work here are a couple hyperlinks to a couple of the bad graphics K2 generated:

Hi kostrom,
Sorry for delay,I think that it is a problem in image size setting, may be the size of general image is smaller than k2 setting size so when K2 resizes it the image distorted.
Please try login backend go to components >> k2 >> click to parameters button on top panel, you will a setting images size tab, try to change size of it to match with your image size.
JA Business use K2 like as third party extensions, we can’t handle all problem of it, this issue relates to K2 function so i suggest you research or post the problem to K2 forum : http://community.getk2.org/forum , may be someone can help you.

I tried all different sizes of images to no avail. I submitted posts to the K2 site but haven’t received a reply. The issue is not resolved and would love feedback if anyone else has had the same issue.
