March 11, 2012 at 10:23 pm #174883Dear, today I have added new article after successful moving my site on new server and I have noticed that 3 modules:
mod_jabulletin, mod_janewspro and mod_janewsticker
don’t show new K2 item on home page. When I click to particular sections, etc. it becomes visible. What happened? How I can fix it?Thank you in advance.
There is article The Eye Of Time – S/T visible as featured in mod_janews_fp however it is not visible in mentioned modules. If you click any category, section, item it appears in mod_jabulletin, and mod_janewsticker (mod_janewspro in only on home).

March 11, 2012 at 11:21 pm #443033Hello,
I assume you are using Joomla! 2.5. Could you please confirm that your settings for the JA News Pro module are like the following?
Source: K2
Fetch items from children categories: Yes
All categories: Selected
Display featured articles: Show
Profile selection: Linear (If not, what is it?)I am unfortunately not sufficiently versed in the news ticker and bulletin modules to touch them at the moment.
Steinar.

March 12, 2012 at 12:11 am #443045Please also make sure that you are running the latest version of K2. Version 2.5.5 (for both Joomla! 1.5 and 2.5) was released only a few days ago.

March 12, 2012 at 7:22 am #443107Hi, it’s strange but article appeared now on frontpage (however, another new doesn’t). I was preparing test version for several weeks and all changes have been visible straight after refresh.
I’m using Joomla 1.5.23, K2 version 2.4.1.
I didn’t change any configuration of any module since I installed it (around November).
Please look at screenshot with Ja News pro conf:
As I’m saying problems became after moving items to new server. So maybe it is something in configuration file or settings of Home page in menu?
I added login details to my ftp and admin area to that post, so if you can take a look I will be very thankful.

March 13, 2012 at 12:23 pm #443430i think the reason is because previous server was in usa, current is in poland. time of creation date is different than i have on my computer and if i changed creation time for 6 hours earlier it appered straight away, so maybe these modules are using old time (us time). however, i have no idea how to change it.
