    Hey guys,

I’ve got a problem with the K2 login in the Tiris template.
I’m using the Joomshopping login, because I want the customers only to use the shop, not the K2, since comments and all this stuff is already deactivated. The login and registration only in Joomla and Joomshopping works, but I had to set the accesslevel for the K2 user plugin to special, so K2 wouldn’t want the user to register in it after the usual registration.
But if the User tries to reset his password and goes through this process, he ends up in his K2 userspace, what I’d like to avoid.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks in advance,

    jhickl

Apologies for this late response, somehow I missed this thread. I tried to disable K2 User plugin in this case but I couldn’t access with account you sent me. You can disable it, see the screenshot

I’ve got to apologize for the late response too.
I already tried disabling it, that solves this problem, but it disables k2 Users in general.
That is also a problem, because we want to have a blog system with different authors.
I already successfully stopped K2 from coming up right after the registration process by setting the plugin to special, as I said, but that doesn’t stop it from coming up after a password reset.
    Any other ideas?

I would advice you to raise this question in the K2 component (3rd party) forums here: http://getk2.org/community maybe they can tell you best way to achieve this.

our experience with K2 component functionality / improvement is limited as we only make the template overrides for it.
