Sorry, I thought I had updated, but after updating now, the audio still does not play with the joomlart template. I also cleared the browser cache and the Joomla cache. It’s odd, when I edit the item in the browser (front-end edit), I can play the file and as I mentioned it plays with the Beez3 template. Other mp3s on the site still work, just not this new one. I’ve also tried using other MP3s on this page (mp3s that work on other pages), but they do not work either on the page that I sent.

    Hi
Kindly update the template too, it seems your are using a custom template or renamed it, as the name of JA event looks different, can u download and install the latest version of the template.
Take a backup of site before the update.

Perhaps this is it: the default style for the Portuguese pages (excluding the home page), is called "JA Events II – EscutaMain Portugues". Even though I have installed the latest template (1.0.4), the style says that it is using 1.0.0. There is an option to update the template within the style edit page, however when I try to use it, is says that I’m already using the latest template. How do I get the style to use 1.0.4?
    thanks,

I have tried several times to install the JA Events II template, v.1.0.4, but when I go to Extensions->manage->manage it shows up only as 1.0.0. I have even tried uninstalling the 1.0.0 template but it does not uninstall. Both 1.0.0 and 1.0.4 show up in Extensions->templates->templates

Another thing, when I am in "Extensions->Templates->Templates" and attempt to open version 1.0.4 of the template (version 1.0.0 is also present), I get the following error:

Error displaying the error page: Class ‘T3Path’ not found: Call to a member function get() on null

Does that give any clue? A PHP problem, perhaps?

The PHP version on the server is 7.0

Looking at other MP3s on my site, I see that menu items displaying a single K2 MP3 item, fail. Category listings of MP3s do however work.

    Hi
I checked your site and it only shows JA event 1.0
    http://prntscr.com/fqwa3z
Anyway i found you have an override in the template folder for K2 component that may create an issue.
Kindly rename the /html/com_k2 any name and check this issue again.

Thank you. I tried that, but it didn’t help. I note that in there ate two jevents directories. One is called templates/jaeventsii/ and the html directory contained the directory com_k2 whichI renamed com_old_k2_override. There seems to be another ja events installation here: templates/ja_events_ii
This however has no com_k2 directory in its html directory.

I’ve tried reinstalling the v1.0.4 JA Events II template and clearing the browser cache but no change.

    Hi
This is not issued from the template, if there are two video player on the same page there is an issue.
In default Joomla template you do not have the sidebar module this is why the player is working.
I disable the module Artigos Novos e Notícias
that showing in the sidebar and has the same video player, Now you can see the page is working fine.

Thanks a lot Pankaj. I put the "News" module back on the sidebar but removed the "Audio Item" K2 category from the module. So the problem is solved.

I wonder however why I cannot use version 1.0.4 of the template, only 1.0.0. Do you have any suggestions there?

    All the best
