I’m using ja-smashboard with K2, Allvideo plugin 4.5.0 set as “Responsive” in the plugin settings (see attached picture). Joomla version is 3.1

The K2 media box doesn’t display Youtbe and Vimeo images (or even the “play” button) on Chrome, when the site is in wide and normal layout (couldn’t test really it with tablet layout yet, but doesn’t seem to work either). It works fine when displayed on firefox and safari. It also works on mobile layout. In the media box, there is only a black square, but if you click on it, the video will play. It DOES display with daylimotion. I need it to work for all layouts. Doesn’t work at all when the plugin template is “classic” or “framed”

I tried to use another site template (Protostar), and the youtube and vimeo embeded videos displayed fine, so the problem must come from a conflict with the site template (maybe in the javascript ? but I’m no expert, so I can’t solve it without help).

I have the latest version of chrome.

Let me know if you need backend access. If I could solve this annoying issue and the other problem about caching themes I asked advise about in this forum, the site would be perfect.

Hi oneira,

On Chrome, there is a strange error of loading the Youtube videos with All video plugin in Popup view of items on our JA Smashboard. The temporarly solution is disabling the Popup view in Template Manager, then the Youtube videos will work fine again.

Note: I will back with the stable solution to your issue after I tested the All Video plugin on our JA Smashboard demo site. Hope you can wait for me !

Tanks for the support. As I said in the pm, I’m in no hurry, so I’ll be checking the forum every day or two days, in hope you find a solution. I will disable popup view for now. Thanks again.

Hi oneira,

Thank you for reminding me about your concern in your PM. I has passed this issue to our template dev team for the bug fix in next update of JA Smashboard template. You can track on the work flow at http://pm.joomlart.com/browse/JATCSMASHB-60.

At this time, I suggest you to put the video embed codes into Media >> Embed tab only. It will make the youtube videos work fine in the popup view of JA Smashboard on both Chrome & Firefox. Remember to clear cache after updating embed codes.
