I have a K2 category named “Politics.” I’ve added it to the “Politics” menu item. However, when I click on the “Politics” menu item, the Joomla “Politics” category is displayed, not the K2 “Politics” category. How do I get the menu item to display the K2 category, not the Joomla category?

    Hi

Could you tell me which type of menu item you have ? K2 or Joomla ?

The menu item was of of type “categories” picked from the k2 menu options. Additionally, although the url to the article was domain.com/politics, the system keeps resolving it to domain.com/news/politics, which points to the Joomla category, not the K2 category. I was partially able to fix this by renaming “sample categories” in k2 to “news”, then renaming a “sample category” politics. However, the path reemains the same; domain.com/samplecategories/samplecategory1.
