I followed all the screenshot in docs but yet i could not get the k2 search filter working. No location contents, categories content not hierarchical and not in the blue container.

Also how exactly are location defined… i checked in the k2 item its a number that is filled. Where is it set for the number to correlate with a location?

Hi vernontee,

‘Location’ is an extra field of K2 item:http://prntscr.com/9dwpam to have this option in each item settings, it’s category is assigned with an extrafield. I believe in documentation of this template, we already provide instruction for it: http://www.joomlart.com/documentation/joomla-templates/ja-directory-template/module-configuration#k2-config

One more thing about the style of module ‘Search Now’, remember to add class suffix ‘ search-now‘ under ‘Advanced’ tab.

I already have that "search-now" in advanced tab..but still no blue bar… additionally… i dont have that option manage multi level data.. why?

You don’t add a space before the class suffix so it doesn’t have effect.

I just added for you and it works now.
