I installed K2 for Joomla 2.5 and it seems like the K2 system plugin (when enabled) is preventing my JA slideshows from displaying. I am trying to use K2 for my blog.

By the way is there like a true blogging component for JA_Social with a blog calendar, tag cloud, etc??

The update will be for JA Slideshow that’s the module you face problems correct ? If you want me i can try to solve this for you with a hot-fix solution until the official release of the update version

Sure that will be great. so far the only problem i was able to see was with the JA-slides show. I believe here are two slide shows in that template.

Sorry. It did not fix the issue. Not only does the sideshow not work when k2 system files are enabled but the main menu also acts different by not showing the automatic drop down as well as th links become inactive. This is very frustrating. Please help?

Ps. Does k2 not work with this template???

Still no answer yet. I am simply trying to get this issue fixed so I can get on with business.

Questions:

1. Can I change the sideshow and use a different slideshow module?
2. Will this fix the issue?
3. Does k2 really work with this template?
4. What will happen if I import all my article from joomla to k2?
