Hi,

There appears to be an issue with Featured News, News Pro and Bulletin modules in that the only way to render K2 Thumbnails is to change the settings from Cropped to original image. This works however is not desirable as the images are just scaled down and rather large and do not look pretty.. The Featured News mod is slightly different in that it displays the Featured Image ok when Cropped is selected however it will not display the thumbnails below. Changing to Original Image fixes this but once again is far from ideal

Secondly there is an issue with the introtext settings for K2…If I set to a small amount of characters it stills shows images within the content. The only way to stop this is to set the character limit to zero..

Please note that this issue is not just limited to this template it also occurs in TelineIV. I haven’t tried any other templates yet but would imagine this is a global K2 issue….

I have been waiting nearly 3 months for an update ! I don’t think its fair to ask me to recreate the demo again…Why don’t you guys set one up? Its your template on your demo server? Ive just highlighted at bug..This issue was supposed to have been reported to your Dev team by your fellow moderators in January If you check my other posts you will see the promises….I have heard absolutely nothing from anyone at JA via email or PM nor have I had been able to use Joomlart for any projects due to this……overall an incredibly disappointing experience and a total waste of time and money..

Hi Dave,
I am very sorry you feel that way but trust me i have downloaded on localhost the latest demo and it’s working as it supposed to do, so please let me know if you tried to upgrade everything since we have updated most of our modules and during this 2.5.x to 2.5.1 we have sorted out most of the bugs that have been reported.

Also similar updates have been made for Joomla 1.5.x since it’s still supported by joomla.org.

Still i am trying to see the issue if it still exists and i will get back to you in a few hours with what i have found.

Hi Manos,

Many thanks for your response and concern. I do appreciate it and not in anyway having ago at you…I wouldn’t worry wasting any more time on this ticket and maybe spend the time better helping someone else on the forums who needs help….I am way past recovering from my experiences here and I’m using one of the other template clubs for my projects from now on…I’ll just last out my subscription until it expires…
