Do you guys have any predictions when K2 v3 may be released? 🙂
I’m hoping you may be in the know about this since so many templates and some big components depend on K2.

Also, is there anything similar to K2 that we could use? Just asking if there are alternatives out there.

As JoomlArt doesn’t have anything to do with the development of the K2 CCK, we wouldn’t know when the next version would be released. Best to check the K2 Message Boards for that kind of info.

As for other Joomla compatible CCKs, might want to take a look at ZOO
