Hello, Maybe its too amateur question, but I could not find an answer how to do it.

Several days ago I updated Purity III to its newest version. Unfortunately, all the changes I made on the "template design" are now gone.

How can I avoid this in future?

    Thank you in advance!

    Regards, Teodor

P.S. For example I made a new position for Breadcrumbs, which is now missing. The strange is that the custom CSS (LESS) changes which I made are still there

    Hi
The custom.css file does not override when u update the template.
If you added a custom position in the PHP code in blocks file, i suggest you put the file on the same path in a local folder.
    Example:
    templates/purityiii/tpls/blocks/header.php file

now copy the header.php file in

    templates/purityiii/local/tpls/blocks/header.php file

this will be an override of header.php file and does not override on template update.

    Thank you very much!

Should I remove the original file (In your example: templates/purityiii/tpls/blocks/header.php) or it does not matter?

    Regards,
    Teodor

    Hi
Do not remove the file from tpls folder. These are the core files of template.
And local folder is an override for these files.

    Regards
