To Hainn and Joomlart Staff,

Kindly identify the names of the files and their location in the Teline II that were fixed or modified so that it would be possible for customers to compare the fixes, based on the changes indicated in the changelog.

i think this is good idea ! In changelog.txt file , we will add path to files (which have been fixed ) , then member can easy for update their site when view changelog.txt file.

Thanks Hainn,

I am glad someone finally understood this. If you go further, make a Template (Fix) Patch Update, it will be so easy to upgrade the template component (separate from Joomla upgrade — no need for uninstall-install of existing sites. Joomlart template based website upgrade simplifies to:

1. Update Joomla with appropriate Joomla Patch Update
2. Upload appropriate Template (Fix) Patch Update to Upgrade Joomlart Template component

=> very simple and fast because only a few files wre fixed, so it is also more easy to find the error, if any problem occurs during the update. The changelog information will help in troubleshooting.

And. sometimes, there is no need to perform second part if Update of Joomla does not require any change in any of the Joomlart Template components.

As important, no need to perform the uninstall-install processe which is very tedious, and complex for Teline II. The uninstall-install process can introduce problems, as demonstrated by many forum posts.

like Hung have post in other thread , if we create a update patch for each version of each template. We can’t manage download system, it is very big , now. It so very difficult for new member when using download system.
In next some day , we will try to fix some problem of teline ii package, we will start add path to files to changelog.txt file .

I understand Hainn,

That is why I requested this. If from the changelog, I get the following information

• File revised: (example): helper.php
• Path Route: (example): modules => mod_ja_catslwi => helper.php
• Code change: (cite Forum thread, if any)
• Reason: (cite Forum thread, if any)
• Date fix: this is very important

other files changes in the Teline II component to be compatible with latest Joomla upgrade. This may not be discussed in the forum, so more detail as above must be provided.

If I have a complete list, from the changelog, I can create my own Teline II (Fix) Patch Update kit.
