    Hi there

    I am currently building a site on my localhost using the Purity III template on Joomla 3.3.3.
    Kunena forum install fine, and can be assigned to menu item without any problems. However, when I click any of my categories in my forum, it shows a blank page. No 404, no errors, just a blank page. Please see the screenshots. Upon clicking my “resorts” category, the page that loads shows only my footer.
    The same happens if i click “register”, “forgot password” ect.

    I read this piece of documentation, but doesnt seem to be what I am looking for: http://www.joomlart.com/documentation/purity-iii/compatible-third-party-extensions#supported-extension

    Am I missing something?

    Update: Upon further testing, Kunena works when the standard Prostar template is assigned as default to my page.

    I also tried Chronoforums with this Purity III template, which works fine. However, the standard login form that comes built in with Joomla does not work. When one clicks “register” it loads only a blank page. This is not the case when Prostar is the default template.

    I find it quite disappointing that this template advertises its compatibility with Kunena when it is not the case, and that it is not compatible with in-built, native Joomla functions.

    I hope someone can help with my issue soonest.

    @dominica;

    Well kunena is working in another template and does work in another? hmm i guess it works it just doesnot display the content.. Kunena is searching for default joomla position for CONTENT in order to layout it’s stuff. Purity has many templates Styles and all display things diffferently, i would suggest you open the Menu Item that links to kunena and see the Template style it is attached to, change the template style and let’s see what happens. Change it to other purity. Like Purity III – Features intro II.

    Let me know how it worked.

    Hi Wingly,

    Thanks for that.
    Changing the template style did not work. But I did manage to fix it based on what you said. Originally I had the template style assigned to my “Forum” menu item only. See image:

    But once I applied the template to the entire Kunena menu, it now works – I no longer get blank pages. See image:

    So that fixed that, thank you.

    My last problem still persists though: In the standard Kunena login section, the “forgot password”, “forgot username” and “create an account” still load blank pages when clicked. Any ideas on that?

    @wingly

    I seem to have discovered a work around by using a different component than the native Kunena login form. Thank you for all your help, really top notch support 🙂
