The kunena template doesn’t seem to work. If I select it, my kunena forum looks like a kind of broken blue-eagle default template.

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. There’s a minor problem with new forum so somehow I missed your reply, please accept my apology for this inconvenient.

About the problem, you will have to load extra style for Kunena in Template Manager >>> default template >>> Add-ons and I updated it for you, please recheck.

In addition, the Kunena version you’re using is a bit old, please update it to 4.0.6 as well.
