December 31, 2009 at 4:49 pm #147205Hello,
i have changed from a webpackage to a webserver…
Now at the Webserver it seems to be problems with Kunena and Internet Explorer 8
There are a hughe loading time if i click on forum or go to main-category,
the internet explorer 8 displayes some (14) loading files in the bottom,
and stopps? loading, after a time all loaded…It is only on Internet Explorer 8 and since i changed to a webserver.
With Firefox it works fine, and before on the webpackage also.
Sorry for my english, but i hope you understand me.
Thanks alot!
I know it is maybe not a ja-sulfur problem,
but here is the place of best support ever,
maybe someone of stuff know what could happend…thanks alot!
ps: the support of the webserver means it depends on the IE <> FF “bridge” in ja sulfur…
i dont know really – if there is something what needed for it?Phill ModeratorPhill

December 31, 2009 at 6:46 pm #327906Using IE8 is fine for me. I’ve tried on winXP on a work laptop running IE7, Own laptop using Win7 and IE8 and on Vista on home pc with IE8. All loaded very quickly and worked a treat so I am certain the issue is on your machine.
People have been experiencing problems on many websites when they have upgraded IE8 from the beta version to the final release and it seems these problems only cropped up after one of M$’s updates. Resetting IE to its default settings seems to fix it (tools>internet options>advanced>reset) but it would be good to know which particular setting was the cause. This all asumed that this is your problem.

January 1, 2010 at 1:39 pm #327918Mysterious 🙂 but thank you.
Ah i think about another Joomlart Template, i like really that ja seleni.
It is all in beta stadium at that site, so it is ok.. maybe it depends that i like seleni a little more 🙂
ps: maybe it depends on windows XP…… could that the reason?
Cause the internet explorer 7 is running on a windows vista machine. -
