I expect that this template will be updated in the near future for 1.7? I’d like to suggest some fixes / improvements for the Kunena theme. The theme is excellent but needs some minor tweaks. I submitted a bug/typo but here are some specific issues that I think would improve the theme. They are relatively minor but from a UI perspective they waste real estate and take away from the overall view of the otherwise excellent theme.

These come from various perspectives and I have nothing against “white space” but the way these layout on both top and bottom of a particular view e.g. a thread / post / list make for a longer page size, increased scrolling and more clunky looking UI. For example putting “new topic” “mark topic read” and “subscribe” on a single row make more sense. and then adding the page number on the same row would save a lot of real estate and there would still be plenty of white space. (remember this is both top and bottom)

Then doing likewise in the Moderator view with “Reply Topic” “New Top” “Unsubscribe” “Favorite” “Delete Topic” “Sticky” “Unlock” “Moderate Topic” could be achieved by resizing the buttons if necessary. Or possibly just resizing the icons on the buttons to keep the same font size but allowing for slightly smaller buttons. Whatever works would I think be an overall improvement to the UI.

Joomlart is in the process of updating all it’s templates for 1.7. You’ll notice that many are already there.
Joomlart has one of the largest template libraries of any Joomla! template vendor, so you can imagine it is a time consuming task, but one that is being completed quickly!

I understand but my comment was for specific suggestions not a complaint about the 1.7 timeline for this template.
