    Hi there,

I want to various landing pages for my client and not place them in the main site. I have a T3 main site and I have uploaded JA Builder to specifically create individual landing pages for my client’s campaigns.

The landing pages will open in a large modal from the main site (click a button) but all functionality must remain in the large modal view.

I need an anchor button link to a booking area at the bottom of the JA Builder Landing page, but as I have no menu – I simply want to have a nicely styled button that moves down to the anchor.

I have followed some of your posts on onepage scrolling and have assigned the block I want to scroll to with the anchor, and this works in principle works IF I have a menu item. But with only needing your button I cannot get to stay in the same window. Instead it sends to a page embedded in the main site (which we do not want)

Attached is an image of what I need.

I am also able to have the page open in a modal, but it is not bringing in the JA template header and footer? I have created a separate menu – and assigned the JA Builder Template to the one page.

    Thanks
    Britt

    Hi Britt,

I got your point, let me check with the team for the style in modal popup and will get back to you.

For the anchor, in the link option (where you have button) you can use #anchorname so instead of:

    index.php?option=com_jabuilder&view=page&id=1#book

    you can use: #book

    UPDATED:

For the modal, I’ve changed the link to: index.php?option=com_jabuilder&view=page&id=1&tmpl=component

    and it’s working fine now.

    Hi Saguaros,

Fantastic – thank you so much! so the trick is to use the full path in any modal pop up as you have done index.php?option=com_jabuilder&view=page&id=1&tmpl=component and just swap ‘id=?’ to any page I want to render init’s place.

Great outcome and thank you for fixing the anchor, I actually tried just the #book, but the internet was not a great connection that day so that could have been the issue.

Thanks again, this model for creating custom landing pages has some real potential.

    Much appreciated
    Britt
