Hi,

This is language code, you can change via Backend > Languages > Content languages > Edit the language you wish and change the language code there. Keep in mind that this language code must be unique.

I tried changing "en-gb" to "en". It does not let me save it.

Anyway, this is a joomla issue, not yours.
