This is so lame, when i load language files for the site i get this stupid error:

    _RSGALLERY_TMPL_GAL_DETAILS_SIZE 8 Bilder
    _RSGALLERY_TMPL_GAL_DETAILS_DATE 06-01-2008

This only happens when i press the “gallery button” and if i remove the language files it works fine. Why didn’t you test this? *sigh*

Language files are important to my users.

I am using the 1.5 RC4 version by the way 🙂

Instead of starting a new thread i will just add some more points to the language issue. The Login module for example and probably many others doesn’t get translated. Seems like this is a hacked 1.0 version that you tried to make 1.5 compatible. Too bad.. 🙁

When will there be a 1.5 native version that also has a native “QuickStart”?

The 1.5 native version hasn’t been released by the author its self.
This is the 1.5 legacy version editted by JoomlArt and I think they doing it good.
I have been told that the language issue will be fixed soon. Maybe today 😀

    Hi prim,
I also noticed this, but then i downloaded the newest language file (norwegian in my case) from the nightly build in the official rsgallery site. That fixed it.

    Thanks a bunch nettemor 😎

Took a while until i found out how to update it though so i will share what i did so others will spend less time looking around with Google…

    1. Go to http://rsgallery2.net/content/view/55/24/ and look to the right side of the page and you will see the Nightly Builds menu.
    2. Click on the com_rsgallery2._r574.zip link to download the SVN.
    3. Extract the zip-file and navigate to the language folder.
    4. Start your FTP-client and login to your Joomla! site then navigate to:

    /administrator/components/com_rsgallery/language/

    5. Replace the language file(s) with the updated ones located on your local computer.
    6. Voila!

I hope at least someone will find my little tutorial useful 🙂
