    – Language issue #1 : I’m using french.
I wanted to replace “WELCOME TO JOOMLA FRONTPAGE” with my language
I’ve set MAIN MENU – > HOME -> DISPLAY SETTINGS on the left to the name of my page. “WELCOME TO JOOMLA FRONTPAGE” is still on the home page. The title only appears once I click on an article.
I had to change the “WELCOMe TO JOOMLA FRONTPAGE” into the english.ini file !

    – Language issue # 2 : both with JA TABS or SLIDE NEWS, the “read more” is not replaced by french translation (I’ve checked it is in the french files, and it’s OK)

    – Language 3 : footnav still displays “You are here” instead of french translation. Here again, I don’t see where I can change this.

I guess I’m on the wrong track somewhere…. it has common reason I’m sure, can anyone give my idea on this ?
    thx

You change this code from languageen-GBen-GB.mod_breadcrumbs.ini

    MOD_BREADCRUMBS_HERE="You are here: "
    – You delete all of files of /cache and /t3-assets directory.

1st screen : WELCOME TO JOOMLA PAGE displayed on frontpage
only changing the “en-GB.plg_system_jat3.ini” will change this
    also dates are in english

2nd screen : as I said, when you enter the article, the title displays properly

    the footnav still in english

“read more” in JA TABS where it should be replaced by french “lire la suite”

    footnav still in english

You add this code into /language/en-GB/en-GB.ini

    You are here=You are here

“read more” in JA TABS where it should be replaced by french “lire la suite”

    I don’t see it

as you will see in backend, this is exactly what I did (Home is now “Accueil”)
and “welcome to joomla frontpage” appears anyway on frontpage
the title I set appears only when I enter the contents

I need to access Accueil menu, but I have error:

Check-out failed with the following error: The user checking out does not match the user who checked out the item.
You are not permitted to use that link to directly access that page (#435).

You close it manually by click Close button when you edit it, please. I will check it.

I’ve granted you access, but maybe you see that I’ve gone back to old fashion method : replaced codes manually in original files

in fact there is no file for my language that is made for JA bulletin, or JA slide news

So for eveyrone, if that helps, and so that you know what I did :

    – replaced all english in file Administrator/language/ en-GB.plg_system_jat3.ini
that one I replaced “Welcome to the Joomla Frontpage” by my phrase

    – replaced all english in files Languages/en-GB/ en-GB.mod_breadcrumbs.ini and en-GB.mod_jacontentslider.ini and en-GB.mod_jabulletin.ini with my own “read more” or “skip content” etc….

I guess this solves my problem for now : if I need to publish some date or “read more” somewhere, I’m sure I’ll have to edit that manually again. Too bad that the template don’t use standards for language structure sor that we could have only our language used by the template.
