Hi there,
That’s jomsocial language missing, not template language.
Would you mind let’s me know which JomSocial version you are using.
Btw, you can check in language file of jomsocial . Is it missing that constant string. If yes, you can add it

Would you mind add this language string into jomsocial language file:
JOMSOCIAL_ACTIVITI_STREAM_TITLE_COMMENT_NEW_ITEM = ‘your text here’

Can you be more specific with the “your text here”? It’s supposed to say that that user commented on a specific article or content right?

JOMSOCIAL_ACTIVITI_STREAM_TITLE_NEW_ITEM= {actor} adds a comment in <a href="%s">%s</a>
JOMSOCIAL_ACTIVITI_STREAM_TITLE_UPDATED_ITEM={actor} updates a comment in <a href="%s">%s</a>
JOMSOCIAL_ACTIVITI_STREAM_TITLE_REMOVE={actor} has removed comment in <a href="%s">%s</a>

Actually there are a lot of things missing in that file because there are things like “POSTING_AS”, “REPLY_COMMENT” “QUOTE” etc. Where can I get the new file for this and just replace it?

Please try to download JA Comments again and you will find the file “en-GB.com_jacomment.ini: within the zip component file, don’t hesitate to ask for more help if needed.
