September 8, 2015 at 6:44 am #682295Hi Karipe,
We use the default way of Joomla to create multilingual site as our demo so you can simply follow the guideline of Joomla here steps by steps.
Like:
– Install languages
– Create content
– Create menus
– Enable language filter plugin
– Enable language switcher module and assign to ‘languageswitcherload‘ position

………September 9, 2015 at 3:21 am #682499I am following joomla’s steps for creating a multi language site. but I am still facing two issues.
– first, the menu module to filter language on front end is not showing even though it is properly published on the back end
– Second, apparently, Megamenu does not allow to assign different languages.Am I missing something?
Thanks.

September 10, 2015 at 4:34 am #682755First of all, you will have to set the default menu item for menu of each language: EN, FR, …
Then in the Extensions > Templates manager, you will need to create different styles for each language, the same as for English on your site now.

September 10, 2015 at 11:56 pm #683008Hello:
I opened my website today and surprise: the language button are now showing (without me doing anything since last time I posted my initial message). but, it broke the home page style completely…. I don’t get what is going on here.Just navigate to http://www.opiniondeck.com and you will see.
How can I fix this?

September 11, 2015 at 3:03 am #683024It doesn’t appear accidentally, I helped to set it up for you.
– In each menu for English, Spain, French, you have to set a default page (I did it for you)
– Now, you will need to access back-end settings of modules you want to show in the home page, check the ‘Assignment’ tab and assign module to the page of each language menu you want. For example, I just set 2 modules to show in home page for you, you can check its settings and apply to other module.
Remember that at this moment, these 2 modules is set to show in All languages, if you want to have different module for associated language, you will need to create / duplicate the current module and assign to language you want.
P/s: These all things are mentioned in above tips, pls check it carefully.
