Hello.
The langauage switcher module is apparently running but doesn’t show flags.
The plugins ‘code language’ and ‘code filter’ are publicated.
The module ‘language switcher’ are publicated in the homepage template and selected ‘All languages’.
The language manager has published 2 languages in: ‘en-GB’ and ‘es-ES’, both publicated in site and administration scopes.
Both languages are publicated in the content section of the language management menu option of joomla.I don’t know if there is a template bug or a missundertanding of the documentation, but all modules and plugins are installed.
Many thanks for your help.
September 15, 2014 at 7:12 pm #549585I have the same issue, I configure the language switcher and it works perfectly, then I active the template and the flags dissapear, I deactivate the template and the flags return.
What are we doing bad?
Thanks in advance…

September 17, 2014 at 4:04 pm #549901Hi.
I’m connected know. Can you retry please?
Many thanks.September 17, 2014 at 8:29 pm #549964Ok, I think I have resolved the problem, and obviously it was a simple mistake.
In the Module Language switcher you must enter into the Menu Assignment and then you can see that the “Menu selection” is unchecked.
I have cheked all the options and every thing is going right.
Thanks and I hope you to help this explanation.
Note: Now I have a new problem, I can’t stablish one menu language as default. I always have the Main Menu as default, I create my english and spanish menu, but I can’t stabilsh one of them as default, so I can’t show the menus on the top of the screen, only the Main Menu (the one with the house in the menu manager). In the demo, when you change the language, the menu change too, but I only can show the Main menu, and it doen’t change when I change the language.

+ Go Admin site -> Template Manager
+ Create JA_Nuevo – Default(EN) and JA_Nuevo – Home(EN) assign with English language and Navigation with Main Menu (en-GB)
+ Create JA_Nuevo – Default(ES) and JA_Nuevo – Home(ES) assign with Español language and Navigation with Main Menu (es-ES)
+ Go to Module Manager -> Language Switcher module and Menu Assignment select all page

September 18, 2014 at 8:10 am #550014I’ve followed the steps and runs Ok.
It’s solved!
Many thanks.September 18, 2014 at 4:35 pm #550065Only one thing, have you check the mobile version?. In my test site when I connect from a mobile phone or tablet, the tab menú in top right has the same issue, show always the inglish version.
The PC version runs perfect…

September 20, 2014 at 5:09 pm #550251You can see the lateral menu, its behaviour is the same as the main menu before we fix it (ok, you fix it, I only saw). It is always the same, whatever language you select.
oh my good!!, how stupid…
I read “Thread: Responsive Menu – Nuevo template” and is the answer. I only have to put the spanish or english menu in the canvas configuration…
September 21, 2014 at 5:38 pm #550284I know that this is not exactly the same problem, but it has some relation.
I have the spanish main menu es in the botton of the page, and I don’t know how to quit it from there.
Thanks in advance…
Yes, yes, I know, again the same, I only have to enter in module manager, look for the main menu esES and quit from where I don’t want it to appear.
SOLVED
